Vidyasagar College of Education is committed to supporting students in making informed decisions about their academic and professional careers. The Career Counselling and Guidance initiative provides students with appropriate guidance, information, and support to identify suitable career opportunities and develop the skills required for future employment and higher studies.
The initiative focuses on understanding the individual interests, abilities, aspirations, and career goals of students and helping them explore suitable academic and professional pathways. Through counselling sessions, awareness programmes, workshops, expert interactions, and career-oriented activities, students are encouraged to develop a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them.
The College also promotes awareness regarding higher education, professional courses, competitive examinations, teaching opportunities, scholarships, internships, employment opportunities, and skill-development programmes. Students are guided on developing essential employability skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, time management, interview skills, and professional etiquette.
