Library Rules
Students and faculty members are expected to observe the following Library Rules to maintain a disciplined and conducive learning environment:
- Every user must carry a valid College Identity Card while using the Library.
- Silence and proper discipline shall be maintained inside the Library at all times.
- Library books shall be issued only according to the Library rules and borrowing privileges.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date. A fine may be imposed for overdue books as per Library regulations.
- Borrowed books should be handled carefully. Any loss, damage, or defacement of Library materials must be reported immediately and compensated by the borrower.
- Newspapers, journals, magazines, and reference books are meant for reading within the Library and shall not be issued unless permitted.
- Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode. Loud conversations and any activity causing disturbance are strictly prohibited.
- Eating, drinking, smoking, or carrying prohibited items inside the Library is not allowed.
- Students shall keep the Library clean and maintain proper decorum.
- Computers, internet facilities, and digital resources shall be used only for academic and educational purposes.
