The students of Vidyasagar College of Education shall strictly abide by the rules and regulations framed by the College, BSAEU, NCTE, and other competent authorities. Violation of these rules may invite disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the College authorities.
- Students shall maintain regular attendance as prescribed by the College and the University.
- Punctuality, discipline, and proper behaviour are expected at all times within and outside the College campus.
- Every student must carry the College Identity Card and produce it whenever required.
- Students shall attend all classes, practical sessions, internships, seminars, workshops, and examinations regularly.
- Respect towards teachers, staff, fellow students, and visitors must always be maintained.
- Ragging, bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of violence is strictly prohibited.
- Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during classes, library hours, seminars, and examinations.
- Students shall maintain cleanliness and protect College property from damage or misuse.
- Smoking, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and other intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited on the campus.
- Use of unfair means during examinations or submission of plagiarized work will attract disciplinary action.
- The College library, laboratories, computer centre, and other facilities shall be used responsibly and according to the prescribed rules.
- Students shall use the College internet and digital resources only for academic purposes.
- Participation in College functions, community outreach programmes, and institutional activities is encouraged.
- Students shall comply with all official notices and instructions issued by the College from time to time.
- Any act that disturbs the academic atmosphere or damages the reputation of the College shall be treated as misconduct.
