Student Guidelines
Vidyasagar College of Education, affiliated to BSAEU (The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration), is committed to maintaining academic excellence, professional ethics, and discipline. Every student is expected to follow the guidelines prescribed by the College, the University, NCTE, and other statutory authorities.
Academic Guidelines
- Students shall attend classes regularly and maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by BSAEU and the College.
- Active participation in lectures, tutorials, practical classes, teaching practice, internships, seminars, workshops, and community engagement programmes is mandatory.
- Students must complete assignments, projects, practical work, and internal assessments within the stipulated time.
- Academic integrity must be maintained at all times. Plagiarism, cheating, and unfair means in examinations are strictly prohibited.
- Students shall regularly check the College Notice Board and official website for important announcements and academic updates.
Examination Guidelines
- Students must follow the examination rules and regulations of BSAEU and the College.
- A valid College Identity Card and University Registration documents must be produced whenever required.
- Mobile phones, smart devices, books, or any unauthorized materials are prohibited inside the examination hall.
- Any use of unfair means during examinations shall invite disciplinary action as per University regulations.
